Zee5 is one of the few Indian OTT streaming OTT platforms that gains so much popularity in a very short period of time due to its unique and promising content.

In the meantimes Zee5 have announced another Original film titled Thappa, which is a Punjabi comedy drama film directed by Gurlove Singh Ratol, known for directing film titled Baapu Bahar Bhejde.
Thappa OTT Release Date
The makers of the film, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 have also revealed the release date of upcoming Zee5 original film Thappa. Now it is confirmed that the film has a direct-to- Zee5 release on July 29, 2022. So clear your schedule and watch the film on the same date on Zee5.

Thappa Star Cast
The film jointly written by director Gurlove Singh Ratol and Parvinder Singh, stars actors Sanam Bariar, Jashn Agnihotri and Seema Kaushal in the lead role with Parvinder Singh, Ritesh Sharma and many others in supporting roles.
Seema Kaushal will be seen playing a never seen before role of a ghost or “bhoot” while Peter England Mr. India 2017 Finalist is playing the lead role of a journalist and Jashn Agnihotri of Kutte Fail fame is playing opposite him in the film.
About the Film
The film is being presented by Gurpreet Singh Baidwan in association and Music Builderzz in association with Seerat Media Productions Presents. Baidwan is the producer and Ramandeep Kaur is the co-producer of the film.
The horror comedy revolves around a journalist named Harjit Singh who is famous for reporting in haunted houses. Nonetheless, the videos of ghosts he makes while reporting are hit but only Harjit knows that all those videos are fake.
He hasn’t really come across a spirit ever. He gained money from the videos and buys him a house. Once he moves in there, he comes across a ghost who has been residing in that house for 25 years.
