The time travel science fiction film The Adam Project is soon going to premiere on the giant streaming platform Netflix. It is directed by Shawn Levy who is the nominee of Oscar awards for the sci-fi film Arrival (2016).
It stars Deadpool fame, Ryan Reynolds, in the protagonist role as Adam who travels back in time to seek help with young Adam and his father to deal with his past while saving the future self. Ryan and Levy had collab in 2021 successful action comedy film Free Guy.
The Adam Project went on the floors in Nov 2020 and the whole shooting concluded in March 2021, Most of the filming took place in Canada’s Vancouver and British Columbia.
Makers on 1 Feb 2022 unveiled the first look posters of the film through social media platforms, though they haven’t launched the trailer of the film yet.

Star Cast of The Adam Project
It features Ryan Reynolds in the titular role of Adam (Time Traveler Pilot), Walker Scobell is essaying the young Adam, Jennifer Garner portraying Adam’s mother, Hulk fame Mark Ruffalo in the role of Adam’s father, Zoe Saldana will be seen in the counterpart lead actress role to Ryan, Other actors Catherine Keener and Alex Mallari Jr. (Christos) will also be seen in the significant roles.
Netflix Release Date
With the unveiling of the first look posters makers also announced the release date of the film, they caption the poster with the quote from Ryan’s interview, “I Haven’t Personally Done a Movie that Reflects My Life the Way The Adam Project Does- Ryan Reynolds”.
The Adam Project will be streamed on the Over The Top (OTT) platform Netflix on 11 March 2022 globally. Earlier the film was to be made in association with Paramount starring famous Hollywood action star Tom Cruise with the title Our Name Is Adam later in July 2020, Skydance moved it to team up with Netflix.

On the technical part, Tobias A. Schilessler lensed the camera and the editing is done by Jonathan Corn and Dean Zimmerman. Rob Simonsen gave the music.
