The Batman records third-highest advance booking collections in India after Spiderman: NWH and Kabir Khan directorial ’83 the film. As per a report of Boxoffice India, the film has collected Rs 5 crores net from the advance ticket bookings and hold the third spot in the list of
highest advance bookings grosser post-pandemic in India, after Tom Holland starrer (Rs 35cr nett) and ’83 (Rs 5cr nett).
Matt Reeves directorial competed with biographical sports film Jhund, Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Valimai starring Ajith Kumar, and Telugu thriller Bheemla Nayak at the Indian market. However, considering the advance ticket booking collections, Robert Pattinson’s starrer was expected to gross the double-digit at the box office India.

Batman got rave reviews from the critics, on reviews aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes the film has the 84% approval rating, entertainment portal IGN gave it 10 out of 10 ratings, British newspaper The Guardian praised the performances of main leads, and Canadian’s The National called it the most compelling comic-book movies of the modern era.
Box Office Collection Day 1
Talking about the Indian box office, Pattinson starrer minted around Rs 6 nett at the box office India on Friday.
These figures can be considered good given the film is facing stiff competition with many Indian films at the box office, Matt Reeves directorial said to garner most of the footfalls on Mumbai and Delhi city, in particular multiplexes. The film is expected to show growth in further days.
Domestic & Overseas Box Office Collection
The Film is made on a budget of around 200 million dollars (INR 1522 crores approx), it collected $57 million (INR 435 crores) on Day 1 & is expected to collect in the range of $115-125 million (Rs 875 – 951 crores approx) at the domestic market on the opening weekend.
The overseas collections of the film are being predicted in the range of $110-120 million (Rs 837 -913 crores approx) on the opening weekend.
Batman revolves around the protagonist Bruce Wayne (portrayed by Robert Pattinson), it is said to be the first film in The Batman trilogy. Directed by Matt Reeves, he also co-wrote the film along with Peter Craig. It has a runtime of 176 minutes. Releasing in Indian cinemas in all four languages English along with the dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
