Robert Pattinson starrer superhero film The Batman has become the second-biggest opening weekend movie in the pandemic era that have crossed the 100 million dollar mark after Tom Holland’s Spiderman: NWH.
The high-profile film was released worldwide on 4 March 2022 Friday, in India, it was released in four languages English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Cinegoers seem to love the film, in India, despite locking horns with many big-ticket domestic films like Bheemla Nayak, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Valimai, etc, managed to collect over Rs 20 crore on the opening weekend.
The Batman minted Rs 6 crore on an opening day (Friday), on Saturday it showed growth and collected Rs 8.25 crores. Reportedly Matt Reeves directorial showing huge growth earned around Rs 11 crores on Sunday.

Robert Pattinson’s role as the vigilante Bruce Wayne/Batman is being loved by movie buffs across the planet, Internationally Warner Bros’s film amassed 120 million dollars (INR 923 crores approx), and $129 million (INR 992crores) from North America. The total sum of Matt Reeves directorial reaches 249 million dollars (INR 1916 crores approx).

The film has already beaten the record of Nolan’s Batman Begins(2005) of 48 million dollars (Rs 369 crores) on the opening day itself with earning over $57 million at the domestic market.
It also beats the record of Tom Holland’s Unbeaten of $44 million (INR 338 crores) at the US BO, which was the highest opening weekend collection of the year prior to The Batman’s obviously!
