Directed by National Award winning director Praveen Sattaru, The Ghost is an upcoming Telugu action thriller which stars Tollywood megastar Nagarjuna in the lead role.
Sattaru made his directorial debut with 2011 LBW: Life Before Wedding (2011), he also directed films including Routine Love Story (2012), Chandamama Kathalu (2014), Guntur Talkies (2016), PSV Garuda Vega (2017), 11th Hour (2021) etc. Chandamama Kathalu won him the National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.
The film is jointly directed by Narayan Das K. Narang, Puskur Rammohan Rao and Sharrath Marar under the banner of Northstar Entertainment and Sree Venkateswara Cinema LLP.
On technical front, the cinematography is handled by Mukesh G. and the editing credit goes to Dharmendra Kakarala while the music and background score is composed by musician duo Bharatt-Saurabh
The Ghost Star Cast
The fans of superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna will soon witness him in a full action packed avatar in The Ghost, in which he is playing the male lead. The actor’s recent project was Kalyan Krishna Kurasala’s supernatural action drama Bangarraju.
It turned-out-to be an immense success and grossed Rs. 63.87 at the Box Office against a total budget of Rs. 25 crore, the film Nagarjuna’s eldest son Naga Chaitanya, Kriti Shetty and Ramya Krishna were also featured in lead roles.
Actress Sonal Chauhan will play opposite Nagarjuna in The Ghost, the actress rose to fame with Emraan Hashmi starrer 2008 romantic film Jannat. It is the first collaboration between the lead actor duo.
Earlier, actress Kajal Aggarwalw was the first choice of the makers for the female role, but she walked out of the project for personal reasons.
Then it was also reported that actress Mehreen Pirzada had been signed as the female lead. All the reports turned-out-to be false and sonal was cast for the major female lead in the film. It will also star Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in pivotal roles.

The team wrapped up another most exciting and lengthy schedule of this most awaited action entertainer today, on March 30, 2022 in Dubai. It was started on March 10, Few high octane action scenes and a mesmerising song was also shot during the schedule.
The director of the film announced the wrap of this schedule through a social media post. He posted a picture of the lead actor duo- Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan in full action-packed look,wearing the uniform of Interpol.
