Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, popularly known as Russo Brothers, American action thriller film The Gray Man, which was released recently on July 22, 2022, on Netflix, will soon be back with its sequel soon.
Before having the digital release on Netflix, The Gray Man also had a limited theatrical release on July 15, 2022. It received a mixed response from public as well as critics with praises for the ensemble cast, however, received criticism towards the cliched script and breakneck pacing.
The Gray Man Season 2 Announced
Days after the most-talked about, $200 million- budgeted CIA thriller landed on global streaming giant Netflix announced plans to expand the franchise with a sequel as well as a spin-off, both are currently in development.
The Gray Man Universe is expanding , the sequel is in development, starring Ryan Gosling, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and co-written by Stephen McFeely, whose credits also includes “Avenger: Endgame” and “Captain America: Civil War”.

The Gray Man Season 2 Cast & Crew
The sequel of The Gray Man will mark the return of Russo Brothers as the director along with Stephen McFeely who is also set to return as the co-writer.
The Russos and AGBO’s Mike Larocca will bankroll the upcoming project along with Joe Roth and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum for Roth Kirschenbaum Films.
Russo brothers also confirmed the return of series’ man lead Ryan Gosling as Sierra Six, a CIA black ops assassin who is forced to go on the run after uncovering incriminating secrets about the agency.

Will Kollywood Megastar Dhanush Return in the Sequel?
The Russos have also confirmed the return of Tamil megastar Dhanush who, after conquering millions of hearts across the country is now impressing Hollywood with his outclass acting. The actor who plays a significant role in The Gray Man as Avik San aka”lone wolf” will also be seen in the sequel of The Gray Man.
Last week the Russo brothers came to India to attend the screening of The Gray Man in Mumbai. They joined Dhanush at the screening. Joe Russo had given a guarantee at the press event that Dhanush will be part of the franchise in future.
