“The Guardians of the galaxy holiday special” is written and directed by James Gunn, and it is produced by Marvel Studios. It is the second holiday special after Werewolf by Night which was released on Oct 7 on Disney+Hotstar.
The duration of this new holiday special is 44 minutes and revolves around the Guardians of the Galaxy as they come to the earth to celebrate Christmas and search for a present for their leader Peter Quill.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Release Date
It is the second special in the series of television specials backed by Marvel Studios for Disney+. The final movie of the MCU’s phase 4 titled “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has been released in cinemas and doing well. The holiday special serves as the conclusion of Phase 4, as a whole.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be released on Disney+Hotstar on 25 November 2022.
Cast & Crew
The returning cast members are Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot) and it introduced Kevin Bacon (a fictionalized version of himself) who is a hero to Quill.
James Gunn who has helmed The Guardian of the Galaxy film series also directed The Holiday Special. It is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, James Gunn, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt.
