Created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong, The Midnight Club is an American horror mystery thriller streaming TV series, which is an adaptation of the 1994 novel of the same name by Christopher Pike.
Flanagan is best known for his horror films like Absentia, Oculus, Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep and Netflix’s anthology series The Haunting among others.
He is also serving as the showrunner and executive producer for the upcoming film along with Trevor Macy, Fong and Julia Bicknell under the banner of Intrepid Pictures. The Midnight Club is the banners first Young adult (YA) series.
The Midnight Club OTT Release Date
Netflix on Tuesday, September 20, 2o22, announced the release date of the first ever episode of The Midnight Club series. The 10-episode series is set to premier on the global OTT platform Netflix on October 7, 2022. All the 10- episodes will be premiered in one go.
The series will premiere in multiple languages world-wide. In India, too, it will be released in dubbed Hindi version along with the original (English) version on the same day. So mark your calendar and get to take a scary ride only on Netflix.

The Midnight Club Star Cast
The series have an ensemble star cast which includes Iman Benson of “Uncle Buck”, “Station 19”, “Suits” fame, Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Cymone, Williams Chris Sumpter, Sauriyan Sapkota and Heather Langenkamp.
The recurring cast of the show includes Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloyan, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint, Patricia Drake and Rahul Kohli
About the Series
Along with the release date announcement, Netflix also released a 3-minute long intriguing trailer of the series. It follows a group of seven close terminally ill young adults who reside in the Rotterdam Home hospice run by an enigmatic doctor.
The trailer shows all of them meeting at midnight every night to tell each other scary stories. One night they make a pact that the first one to succumb to their disease is responsible for communicating with the others from beyond the grave. Later, the bizarre occurrences begin, after one of them dies.
