Developed by show runners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, American fantasy television series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is based on the novel The Lord of Rings and its appendices.
Set in the Second Age of Middle-Earth, thousands of years before Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of Rings, it begins during a time of relative peace and covers all the major events of Middle-Earth’s Second Age.
These events include the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the fall of the island kingdom of Numenor and the last alliance between Elves and Men. These events take place over thousands of years in Tolkien’s original stories but are condensed for the series.

The series have a big star cast which includes Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Will Fletcher as Finrod, Fabian McCallum as Thondir, Kip Chapman as Rian, Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, Sara Swangobani as Marigold Brandyfoot, Thusitha Jayasundera as Malva, Maxine Cunliffe as Vilma, Dylan Smith as Largo Brandyfoot, Markella Kavenagh as Elanor Brandyfoot among others.
The Ring of Power Ep 4 OTT Release Date
The series was released on Amazon Prime Video on September 2, 2022 and has delivered 2 episodes so far with the third having started premiering on the platform today, on September 9, 2022 at 6:30 am, as per IST.
Now if we talk about the release of its fourth episode, it is out on Friday, September 16, 2022 only on Amazon Prime Video at 09:30 am as per Indian Standard Time in English along with dubbed Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions.

The series consisted of a total of 8 episodes and the rest of the episodes will also premiere weekly on every Friday until October 14, 2022 on the platform.
