Global OTT streaming giant Netflix is set to return with its another web-series, an American fantasy drama titled The Sandman, based on the 1989-1996 comic book series of the same name written by English Neil Gaiman, with pencils by legends such as Charles Vess and Sam Keith and published by DC Comics.
The series is developed by Gaiman along with “Batman Begins” screenwriter David S. Goyer and “Young Avenger” creator Allan Heinberg for Netflix.
The Sandman OTT Release Date
Produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television, the fantasy drama series is set to premiere soon as the makers have released the release date. It is now confirmed that the series will have its premiere on August 5, 2022 on Netflix.

The Sandman OTT Trailer Out
Netflix has also released the official trailer of The Sandman. The 2.5 minute long trailer revolves around The Sandman, the master of Dreams, known as Dream or Morpheus (Tom Sturridge) who gives shapes to all are deepest fears and fantasies in a place called the Dreaming, another world, where we enter when we close our eyes and sleep.
However, when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change Both the dreaming and waking world forever. To restore order, Dream must journey across different worlds and timelines to mend the mistakes he has made during his vast existence, revisiting old friends and enemies, and meeting new entities- both cosmic and human- along the way.
The season 1 of this much-awaited show will be streaming from 5th Aug 12:30 PM, English, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi.
