Telugu star actor Ram Pothineni had made much hype through the first look of his upcoming film which was tentatively called RAPO19. The film is then titled ‘The Warrior’.
It is a bilingual film, shot in both languages Tamil and Telugu. Filming took place mainly in Hyderbad barring some scenes and songs, which were shot in Chennai. It started in July 2021, and the second schedule was concluded on Oct 21.
The third filming schedule of the film was commenced in Jan 2022, now as per the recent reports, the shooting has been wrapped up of The Warrior on 30 May 2022.
The Warrior Release Date
The Warriorr or Ram Pothineni’s love interest Whistle Mahalakshmi or Krithi Shetty’s first look poster also made some hype, In March, after the completion of the third schedule, makers announced that the film would hit the theatres on 14 July 2022 in two languages Tamil and Telugu.
Star Cast of The Warrior
The Warrior will be an action thriller directed by N. Lingusamy, wherein Ram will be appearing in a never-seen role of a police officer. Other actors Krithi Shetty and Akshara Gowda will be playing the lead actress role in the movie. Krithi made her Tollywood debut with the 2021 blockbuster Uppena.
With The Warrior she will be marking her Kollywood debut, she is playing the Radio Jockey in the film. Meanwhile, Aadhi Pinisetty is essaying an antagonist character, he has earlier worked in successful films like Sarrainodu, Eeram, etc. Jayaprakash will be seen in the doctor’s role.

The Warrior is one of the most anticipated movies of Telugu cinema of this year for any tier-2 hero, Recently the teaser of the film was released by the makers and within 24 hrs, it has been viewed over 9.38 million times, went on to become the second all-time highest views film for a tier-2 hero. Nani’s Ante Sundarinki is still intact in the no.1 spot with 10.36 million views in one day.

Ram is essaying a cop role, the teaser promises to be a mass action entertainer, with the rowdy performance of Pothineni in a cop avatar. He will be seen flogging criminals and delivers justice immediately.

The Warrior is directed by Lingusamy and backed by Srinivasa Chitturi. The director of Photography or Cinematographer is Sujith Vaassudev and the music in the film is given by Devi Sri Prasad. Presented by Pavan Kumar.
Talking about the main lead Ram Pothineni The warrior will mark his second bilingual film after 2012 Endukante…Premanta! which is titled Yen Endral Kadhal Endben! in Tamil. He was recently seen in Anil Paduri’s directorial Romantic.
