RAPO’s “The Warrior” had an excellent opening, with the help of the hires in the Andhra region the film managed to gross over 10 crores on day 1. However, the film saw a more than a usual drop on day 2 which resulted in a dip in its collections.
N. Lingusamy directed and wrote the film, it stars Ram Pothinenin in a rowdy cop avatar, Aadhi Pinisetty and Krithi Shetty also feature in pivotal roles. Produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under his own banner Srinivasa Silver Screen.
The action thriller is a mid-week release, thereby it will have a four-day extended weekend at the box office. Usually, a film tends to drop on the 2nd day if talking about the extended weekend but a drop of more than 50% is big. It will impact its overall box office performance.
