The latest Telugu action entertainer “The Warriorr” has been witnessing a downtrend in the collections since Monday, the film had a decent extended first weekend. It was opened with mixed to negative reviews from the critics.
RAPO starrer still needs to recover Rs 20 Cr shares worldwide to emerge as a successful venture which seems impossible now as it is performing below par at the box office. N. Lingusamy directed and wrote the film, it marks his 10th directorial venture.
Box office Collection Day 8
RAPO’s film continues to struggle at the box office and collects Rs 0.70 Cr gross on Day 8, now the total worldwide collection of “The Warriorr” stands at 32.90 Cr gross, as per the Telugu trade reports.
The film will see its lifetime to finish at Rs 40 Cr gross. The Telugu industry needs a big hit to revive itself as it has been 7 weeks since it delivered a hit film (Major).

Box Office Collection Worldwide
If Telugu trade reports are to be believed, it took a flying start at the box office worldwide, as it earned Rs 12.20 Cr gross on day 1, it is a mid-week non-holiday release, hence the film had a four-day extended weekend. It saw a subpar drop in the collections on the 2nd day and collected Rs 4.65 Cr gross.
Given the extended weekend, a drop on day 2 is normal but it performed below par and showed a drop of 70% which is huge and affected its collections further. However, it witnessed a tad growth on Sat and Sun taking the total 4-day weekend collections to Rs 28 crore gross worldwide.

Drop on Day 2 affected the business
Hadn’t “The Warrior” shown the drop of 70% on day 2 (Friday), the weekend collections would have been much higher. Going by the day 1 collection, trade pundits were of the view that it will do more than half of the business in the first four days itself.
Now, it seems it will be impossible for RAPO’s film to recover its business as it is witnessing a decline in the collections from Monday. it accumulated Rs 1.70 Cr on Monday, Rs 1.35 Cr on Tuesday, and Rs 1.15 Cr on Wed, the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 32.20 Cr gross worldwide.
