The much-hyped family drama “Thiruchitrambalam” starring Dhanush has been released in cinemas and received positive early reviews from the audience.
It is the first film of the actor Dhanush after Karnan (2021) was released in theatres, meanwhile, Jagame Thandhiram, Atrangi Re, Maaran, and The Gray Man were released directly on the OTT platforms.

Early reviews are mostly positive, it is being praised for the performances of the main leads Dhanush, Raashi Khanna & Nithya Menen, the direction, Dhanush’s chemistry with Nithya, and the BGM by Anirudh Ravichander.

The trailer of the film grabbed the eyeballs, it had created a buzz before the release, and further with positive word of mouth it was released in cinemas. As per the Tamil trade reports, it earned Rs 9.52 Cr on the first day. And emerged as the 6th highest opening day TN film of 2022.
It was opened with mixed reviews from the critics and has taken a flying start at the box office, the business of the film is expected to grow over the weekend due to word of mouth.

About The Film
Mithran R. Jawahar wrote and directed the film, Kalanithi Maran backs it under his own banner Sun Pictures. It marks the third film of Dhanush this year, after Maaran, The Gray Man and the first film to release in theatres after Karnan (April 2021).
Red Gian Movies are the distributors, on the technical front, It is an Anirudh Ravichander musical, Prasanna GK edited the flick and the cinematography is handled by Om Prakash. The duration of the film is 133 minutes or 2hrs 13mins.
