Dhanush’s musical romantic film “Thiruchitrambalam” overtook Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast’s lifetime in Tamil Nadu on Day 11, and as per the latest trade reports, it has gone past 100 crores worldwide.
The film has also become the actor’s highest grosser in the home market (TN) breaching his 2021 Karnan’s lifetime of 51 crores, according to Pinkvilla.

Crosses 100 Cr WW
Thiruchitrambalam has recently gone past 100 crores at the box office worldwide on Day 13, industry tracker Manobala Vijayan, informed the fans via Twitter. He took to Twitter on Aug 30 (Tue) and wrote, “Thiruchitrambalam zooms past 100 cr at the worldwide box office”
5th Highest Grosser 2022 in TN
It is on a record-breaking spree, the next target of Dhanush’s film will be to cross the 125 crores mark. However, it is remained to be seen if Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra put a stop to its run or not. Beast’s lifetime collection stands at 65.45 crores in TN. If talk about the highest grosser film in Tamil Nadu, Thiruchitrambalam stands at no. 7 on the list with KGF2 and RRR on spots no 3 and 4, respectively.

As per a report of Pinkvilla, Dhanush’s film has raked in 23 crores from overseas markets in 12 days. Since there is no proper Kollywood box office tracker, the collections of the film vary. However, from today onwards, Dhanush’a film will face competition with the much-anticipated Cobra which is said to be releasing around 500 screens in the state. As per the trade estimation, it collects in the range of Rs 1.5-2 Cr on Day 13 in Tamil Nadu.
