The American superhero film “Thor: Love and Thunder” remains the first choice of the cinephiles even on weekdays in India. The film had a strong opening weekend, it beat its prequel lifetime “Thor: Ragnarok” in the weekend itself.
However, it will be difficult for Chris Hemsworth starrer to beat the lifetime figures of Doctor Strange 2 (Rs 130 Cr) as it was the continuation of Spiderman: NWH while Thor 4 is a standalone film.
Still, the job has been done for the film, and now it will be heading for Rs 100-110 Cr lifetime figures. Although there was a significant drop in its collections on Monday, the film continues to remain the top choice of moviegoers in the country.
Box Office Weekdays
As per a report of Pinkvilla, Thor: Love and Thunder accumulated Rs 78 Cr in the first 7 days and will collect a little over Rs 80 Cr in the extended Week 1. After a big drop on Monday, Chris-Natalie starrer remains steady on the weekdays.

On day 5 (Mon), it earned Rs 5.50 Cr, Rs 4.50 Cr on day 6 (Tue), and in the range of Rs 3.25-3.50 Cr on Day 7 (Wed) taking the total collections to Rs 78 Cr+.
Box Office Collection Day 8
As per the trade estimation, it shows a usual drop of around 10% on Day 8 (Thu) and earns in the range of Rs 2.5 to 2.75 Cr to take the extended week 1 total to over Rs 80 Cr.
The film will have a chance to perform at the ticket windows next week also until Shamshera arrives, it is expected to show good growth on the second weekend and then decent earnings in the weekdays will take its collections near Rs 100 Cr.
