Chris Hemsworth’s highly anticipated film “Thor: Love and Thunder” or “Thor 4” is all set to hit the theatres worldwide soon, the film is releasing in Indian cinemas a day prior to the home market on July 7.
Moreover, the film will also have shows running 96 hours continuously straight for four days starting July 7 at 12:15 AM to July 10 at 11:59 PM in selected theatres.
The advance bookings for the same have been commenced three weeks prior to the release in India. And the response is astonishing, below are the complete details about the advance bookings, screen counts, and box office predictions for Marvel’s upcoming outing.
Budget
The film is said to be made on a budget of 185 million US dollars ( INR 1462.51 crore approx), it is one of the costliest films in the Thor films series. Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth installment in the series and overall 29th outing in the MCU franchise.

Advance Bookings Report
As we discussed above, The advance bookings were opened 3 weeks prior to the release, as per the Sacnilk, Thor 4 has grossed Rs 6.47 crores from the bookings for day 1 so far. If it is true then the numbers are very low given the fact that recently released Doctor Strange had earned Rs 20 crores from the bookings alone.
The advance bookings for Strange were opened a month prior. However, the official report of advance bookings is yet to come for Thor 4.
Screen Counts
MCU’s earlier two films Spiderman: NWH and Doctor Strange: MIM had screened on 3264 and 2500 screens in India, respectively.
Now, the makers will try to fetch as many screens as they can as there are no big competitors for the film currently at the box office for two weeks until Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera arrives.
As per our estimation, Thor 4 will be released on over 2800+ screens in India, given the popularity of Marvel and Chris Hemsworth in India.

Box Office Prediction
It is difficult to predict the box office collection until the official advance bookings report comes but considering Marvel’s last two outings, which saw record-breaking openings at the box office India. The same can be expected from Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.
As per our projections, Thor 4 or Thor: Love and Thunder will see the opening in the range of Rs 25-30 crores nett on the opening day in India.
