“Thor: Love and Thunder” or “Thor 4” currently is the seventh highest grossing film of the year worldwide, now the superhero film is heading to grab the sixth position at the box office.
The top grosser of 2022 are Top Gun: Maverick, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Jurassic World Dominion, The Batman, The Battle of Lake Changjin 2, Minions: The Rise of Gru and Thor 4 respectively. It is around $40M behind to surpass the lifetime of Minions: The Rise of Gru.

Thor 4 Box Office Worldwide
As per the Box Office Mojo, “Thor: Love and Thunder” has now grossed $505.19M (INR 4040.90 crore approx) worldwide which consists of $265.9M (INR 2120.42 crores approx) internationally and $239.2M (INR 1912.38 crores approx) domestically.
It now needs to collect Rs 320.13 crore more to beat the lifetime of Minions: The Rise of Gru at the box office worldwide, to become the sixth highest grosser of 2022, it is expected to dethrone the latter film by the upcoming weekend.
Box Office Collection India
It opened with a flying start at the box office in India, the film had seen an opening of Rs 18 Cr. Showing growth over the weekend, it collected Rs 64.80 Cr on its extended 4-day first weekend, making the first week collections around Rs 80 Cr.
Chris-Natalie led has gone past Rs 90 Cr in India and is strongly heading for Rs 100 Cr mark, according to trade analysts, it will see its lifetime Rs 105-110 Cr range before the end of its theatrical run.

Box Office Collection Day 14
Going by the trends, Chris-Natalie starrer will stay stable through the weekdays in India until Shamshera is released on the big screens, Thor 4 is currently winning the race at the box office owing to the dull box office performance of the new release Bollywood films.
As per the Sacnilk, it saw 5% occupancy during the morning, 6.49% during the afternoon, 9.88% during the evening and 8.43% during the night shows with an overall of 7.47% occupancy on day 14 (Wed). As per the trade estimation, it collects Rs 50 Lakhs on Wednesday.
