Marvel’s latest release “Thor: Love and Thunder” was opened to mixed responses from the critics but saw tremendous opening numbers at the box office, the film is heading towards the Rs 100 cr mark in India and currently is the 7th highest grossing film worldwide of 2022.
“Thor: Love and Thunder” or “Thor 4” is directed by Taika Waititi and it is the 4th film in the Thor film series of MCU, it stars Chris Hemsworth in the titular role and Natalie Portman in the main lead, while Christian Bale (Gorr the God Butcher) is in the villain’s role.

Box Office Collection Day 17
It is in the third week run in India, the film had a good 2nd weekend and holds well through the weekdays, as per sacnilk, Chris-Natalie starrer shows more than double occupancy on Saturday as compared to Friday during the morning, afternoon, evening and night shows.
Going by this it accumulates Rs 1 Cr on Sat Day 17, as per the trade estimation. The film now has gone past Rs 95 crores in India and is expected to show a similar trend in occupancy on Sunday.
Box Office Worldwide
As per box office mojo, it has grossed USD 520M+ (in Indian rupees Rs 4153.60 crores approx.) worldwide with $254.12M+ (Rs 2028.87 crores approx) in the domestic (U.S and Canada) and $265.95M+ (Rs 2116.74 crores approx) internationally, so far.

It is currently the seventh highest grosser worldwide among the films released this year. The top grosser of 2022 are as follows:
