MCU’s 29th outing “Thor: Love and Thunder” is all set to touch another milestone at the box office, the film recently crossed the $600M worldwide mark. It is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in the main lead roles, it also has Christian Bale, making his Marvel debut, as an antagonist Gorr the God Butcher.
It has been on a record-breaking run at the box office, despite mixed talks, since its arrival. Chris led is already a winner at the box office and now it is aiming the rank no. 6 in the list of the highest-grossing films of the year.
To become 6th highest grosser film 2022
Thor 4 is currently at the no. 7 spot in the list and creeping up for a while to beat the lifetime of Chinese war film “The Battle at Lake Changjin 2”, the latter film with $626.57M worldwide stands at the no. 6 position. “Thor: Love and Thunder” is expected to beat the lifetime of the war film by the 4th weekend. It is only $15.43M (INR 123.15 crores approx) away to cross its lifetime.

Box Office Collection Worldwide
Chris-Natalie led so far has accumulated USD605.3M (INR 4830.32 crores approx) worldwide with USD322M (INR 2568 crores approx) international and USD283.3M (INR 2259.65 crores approx) at the domestic box office, as per box office Mojo.
Let us also inform you that Marvel’s other release “Doctor Strange 2” is the second highest grosser film of 2022 with the 1st spot fetched by Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick, in the list.

Box Office Collection Day 22
The film will soon enter the 100 cr club at the box office, the film has been decent on the weekdays despite the arrival of the biggie Shamshera. It is expected to finish its lifetime with Rs 105 crores in India at the end of its theatrical run. As per the trade estimation, it earns Rs 15-20 L on Day 22 to take its total collections to around Rs 97.50 crores.
