One of the highly anticipated films of the Marvel franchise this year is Chris Hemsworth starrer Thor: Love and Thunder.
We can judge the popularity of Chris’s Thor as the first trailer of the film when dropped went on to become the seventh most-viewed trailer of all time, by crossing 20.9 crore views in 24hrs collectively.
Thor: L&T serves as the sequel of earlier two parts Thor (2013) and Thor Ragnarok (2017), it is the sixth outing of Marvel’s phase four films and the second of the year after Doctor Strange 2.
Seeing the popularity of Thor, it is expected that it will become 2022’s one of the highest grosser films. The latest flick of MCU is all set to hit the big screens on July 2nd week this year.
OTT Release Date in India
Thor: Love and Thunder will be premiered on the Disney+Hotstar as per the phase four deal between Disney and Marvel, though when the film will arrive on the streaming platform, hasn’t been known yet.
We assume that Thor: Love and Thunder or Thor 3 will be premiered on the platform after 2 months’ stay, as the same happened with the earlier films like Black Widow, Eternals, Shang Chi, etc, so Thor 3 will most probably be released by September 2nd week.

Story
As per several reports and the two trailers of the film, it will be set after the events of Avengers: Endgame where Thor (Chris) will be transforming his body back as in the prequels, as Korg said in the trailer from dad bod to god bod, to fight the villain in the film Gorr the God Butcher (portrayed by Christian Bale).
In the trailer, we also see a glimpse of Thor’s love interest Jane Foster, or Mighty Thor ( Natalie Portman) returning to the scene after 8 yrs as per Thor. The latter will be recruiting Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and Jane to fight the Butcher. Korg along with the voicing of Korg also directed and screenplay wrote the film. Jane has become the Mighty Thor in the film.
Star Cast of Thor 3
Along with Chris, Bale, Portman, and Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander will be seen portraying Sif, thor’s Asgardian friend, and Russell Crowe as Zeus in pivotal roles.

Screenplay written and directed by Taky Waititi, he also wrote the story with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, bankrolled by Kevin Feige with Brad Winderbaum under Marvel Studios. Technical parts include Barry Idoine onboarded as cinematographer, edited by Matthew Schmidt, Peter S. Elliot, Tim Roch, and Jennifer Vecchiarello and the film has the music given by Michael Giacchino.
