Based on Marvel Comics character Thor, the upcoming American Superhero movie, Thor: Love and Thunder will be ready to have a blast soon and it is intended to be the direct sequel of Thor: Ragnarok.

It is the 29th film of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the fourth installment of the Thor franchise after Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017).

The role of Thor for Marvel Cinematic Universe is played by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, who rose to fame and established himself among the world’s highest-paid actors because of the character of Thor.

Not only for the Thor franchise, but he portrayed the character in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films including The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultrons, Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame.

This most awaited installment of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor franchise will hit the big screen on July 8, 2022, in the United States of America.

It will be released as a part of the MCU’s Phase Four which features all the Marvel Studios’ Productions set to be released from 2021 through 2023.

Apart from this, two more Marvel studio’s Productions- Moon Knight and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are also scheduled to be released in March and May respectively, as per Phase Four, this year.

Along with Chris Hemsworth, who is the male lead and playing the role of an Avenger and the former king of Asgard, Thor, these actors will also be featured in the pivotal roles:

Apart from them, Waititi, Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth will also reprise their roles as Korg, Loki, Odin, and Thor respectively.

Russell Crowe will also have a cameo appearance as Zeus. Melissa McCathy is playing an actress Hela, alongside her husband Ben Falcone, Singer Jenny Morris and actor Simon Russell Beale have been cast for undisclosed roles.

Thor: Love And Thunder Makers

This superhero film is helmed by Taika Waititi, who also directed the film’s prequel and the third installment of the Thor franchise. Along with directing the film, he also co-wrote the screenplay with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.

The story of the film is based on the character that features in the American Comic books, published by Marvel Comics and created by popular American writer Stan Lee alongside Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby.

It is bankrolled by Kevin Fiege along with Brad Winderbaum and holds the banner of Marvel Studios. If we talk about technical work, editing in the film is handled by Maryann Brandon.

The film has music by popular American music composer Michael Giacchino and the distribution rights of the film are acquired by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Thor: Love and Thunder Production & Marketing

The filming of this most-awaited movie was supposed to get started in August 2020 but it couldn’t go the way it was planned, as the Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak, at that time.

Later, the shooting started on January 26, 2021, at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney under the tentative title The Big Salad and wrapped up on June 1, 2021.

Lego and Hasbro, two popular multinational conglomerates based in Denmark and America, respectively, have also revealed their new Marvel collections based on this upcoming installment of the Thor franchise.

Lego’s newest building set reveals Lego versions of Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg, boarding a Viking ship called The Goat Boat.

While Hasbro’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” collection revealed Mjolnir and Stormbreaker toys and action figures of Thor, Mighty Thor, Korg, etc. in their new suits for the upcoming sequel.

After creating history with the first trailer, makers dropped a brand new official trailer recently, the trailer starts with the story of Thor, and in the middle of the trailer, his love interest Jane Foster pops up as a lady Thor. The 2 min 16-sec trailer is filled with amazing visuals, high-octane action sequences, and a cute tiff between Thor (Chris) and Jane (Natalie).
