Titanic: Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum is an upcoming romantic comedy film which is directed and written by M. Janakiraman, who worked as an assistant director with many prominent directors of the industry such as Bala, Sudha Kongara and Balaji Mohan etc.
The film is bankrolled by C.V. Kumar under the banner of Radhakrishnan Dhanapal. If we talk about technical work, Ballu is serving as the director of photography and editing is handled by Radhakrishnan Dhanpal and Ignatious Aswin.
The film has music and background score by Nivas K. Prasanna and its music rights have been acquired by Think Music.
Titanic Star Cast
Actor Kalaiyarasan is the male lead actor of the film, who is best known for his acclaimed performance in Pa. Ranjith’s 2014 political action drama film Madras.
His recent release was psychological drama film Kuthiraival which was released on March 18 2022 and received mixed response.
Actress Anandhi is playing as the female lead in the film. She appeared in many films in the past such as Vetrimaaran’s Poriyaalan and Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal. In the upcoming film she is playing Kalaiyarasan’s love interest.
Along with the leading star cast, actors Ashna Zaveri and Kaali Venkat are playing the crucial roles. The film also features Raghav Vijay, Gayathrie, Jangiri Madhumitha, Chetan, Devadarshini, Varma Ramaswamy, Divakar and Arjunan in supporting roles.
Titanic Release Date
The film was earlier reported to be released through a direct OTT streaming but all these claims have been proven to be false.
The makers on April 2, 2022, announced the official release date of the film, confirmed that the film will have its theatrical grand release on May 6, 2022 but postponed later, now save the date ’24 June 2022′:

Earlier, the film’s song titled Gokka Makka was also released on January 15, 2019 and it has the voice of STR along with Pragathi Guruprasad and lyrics by Mohan Rajan. Four more songs titled Kaalamum Kettu Pochu, Yaazhini, Vaaname and Sila Naal have also been released so far.
About the Film
The film is said to be an all-out comedy and the story of it takes place in Chennai, Kodaikanal, a village near Coimbatore and Bengalutu and also on a train.
its title was announced by its makers a way before on December 29, 2017 as Titanic, with tagline Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum which is a parody of Nalan Kumarasamy’s 2016 romantic comedy film Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian.

The trailer of the film was released over a year ago on January 28, 2021. The two minute long trailer is a complete package of romance and comedy, it shows the journey of lead actors from fighting over small things to falling for each other.
