Senior Bachchan’s latest release “Uunchai” is turning out to be a top performer for the actor in pandemic times. Despite the limited release the film has managed to take a decent start of 1.8 crores at the box office which many biggies with wider releases couldn’t.
And not to forget it locked horns with Marvel’s highly anticipated Black Panther 2 and Pan India Yashoda, still, it managed to pull the footfalls towards the cinemas. It is directed and produced by the legendary Sooraj Barjatya under Rajshri Productions.

Box Office Collection Day 2
As per the reports, Uunchai has jumped by 70% in earnings. As per trade estimations, it minted ₹ 3.50 Cr on day 2 to take the total collections of the movie upwards ₹ 5.3 crores nett, domestically. It is a jump of 97.24% in collections.
The multiplexes are driving its biz, almost 80% of day 1 earnings came from the metros. The word of mouth for the film is good it needs to translate into box office numbers in the coming days. With the increasing screen counts, the film is expected to rake in an amount similar to the Friday on Monday.
Uunhcai Occupancy Report
As per the latest reports, Uunchai has seen stupendous occupancy on day 2 as well. The film has recorded a good 38.37% occupancy rate across all shows morning, evening, noon and night shows.
It was also reported that it will see an increase in the shows from today onwards.

The film has powerhouses like Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Denny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra. It was released in below 500 screens in India.
