Amitabh Bachchan-Parineeti Chopra starrer “Uunchai” has touched the 10 Cr mark on its first weekend. It was released on below 500 screens and has shown high occupancy throughout the weekend.
With this, Uunchai also marks the highest-grossing first-weekend film for Sr. Bachchan in the post-pandemic. The family audience is said to be driving its biz all thanks to the brand value of Sooraj Barjatya.

Uunchai 1st Weekend Box Office
Uunchai was estimated to collect below a crore on its first day, but the flick exceeded all expectations and churned out ₹ 1.81 Cr on its first day. As the positive audience word of mouth started pouring in for the film, it minted ₹ 3.64 cr on the 2nd day with a huge over 101.10% growth.
It is estimated to have touched the ₹ 5 Cr mark on Sun (day 3) to take the total first weekend collections in the vicinity of ₹ 10 crores.
Box Office Collection Day 4
As per the trade reports, Uunchai is stable at the box office, it collects around ₹ 1.7 Cr** on its first Monday, which is similar to the Friday. The reports suggest that the flick will remain stable throughout the weekdays.
Big B’s film had clocked in 38 L from the advance bookings for day 4. Earlier, it is estimated to collect around 1.2 Cr but exceeding all expectations, Amitabh starrer remains stable on its first weekday. The total nett collections now stands at 11.86 crores**.
