Ajith Kumar’s next or Valimai was to release on 13 Jan 2021 or during the occasion of Pongal. Another big-budget and big star movie Radhe Shayam was also scheduled to be released on the occasion, while a much-hyped movie RRR was to release a week before. All of them were postponed due to Omicron.

Ajith Kumar is playing the main role of an IPS officer namely Arjun Kumar. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is the lead female opposite, Arjun Kumar. Actors like Kartikeya Gummakonda, Gurbani Judge, Sumithra, Yogi Babu are other important roles.
