In July 2022, Surya’s fans went crazy over the collaboration their favourite Anna and director Bala when superstar himself revealed the poster of film which was tentatively named Suriya41, got the title ‘Vanangaan’. The Telugu version of movie was titled ‘Achaludu’.
Suriya shared the poster on his social media platforms on the occasion of the 56th birthday of Vanangaan director Bala. The shooting also went to the floors but the latest update is not good.
After so many speculations, it’s confirmed that Suriya and his production house isn’t part of this film. Here’s their official statement.

Bala and Suriya reunion
Actress Kirthi Shetty was paired opposite Surya in Vanangaan in an interview she shared that her role in the movie is very fresh and new and she added that it’s going to be a fresh and new character and I loved working with Bala sir and it has been my best experience.”
With Vanangaan, Suriya and Bala were reuniting after 19 years since their last project Pithimagan. The 2003 release Pithimagan was an action-drama film which also starred superstar Chiyaan Vikram apart from Suriya. Chiyaan Vikram also won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his amazing performance in the film.

Reportedy, the film is shelved after Suriya’s exit, the actor will focus on his big-budget #Suirya42 now.
