Sandalwood superstar Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, who is the elder brother of the late Puneeth Rajkumar and is known to be the mentor, guide and inspiration to many stars in the industry, is set to be back with his new project titled Vedha this Christmas.
Touted-to-be a crime thriller, the film is the 125th project of the superstar, who has been active in the film industry for four decades. Vedha is directed by A. Harsha and is his 10th directorial venture. He has already worked with the actor in three projects after Bhajarangi, Bhajarangi 2 and Vajrakaya.

The film, produced under the big banners- Geetha Pictures and Zee Studios, stars Dr. Shiva Rajkumar and Karunada Chakravarthy in the lead roles. Shiva Rajkumar’s most recent release is the Kannada action thriller film Bairagee.
Other than these stars, the film also features Ganavi Laxman, Umashree, Aditi Sagar, Swetha Changapaa, Veena Ponnappa, Raghu Shivamogga, Jaggappa, Cheluvaraj, Bharath Sagar, Prasanna, Vinay, Sanjeev, and Kuri Prataap in key roles.

The film has a talented team behind it working hard on the technical front. It has Swamy J. Gowda as the cinematographer, Deepu S. Kumar as editor, Ravi Santhehakklu as art director, and Raghu Niduvalli as the dialogue writer.
The direction team includes Mandasmitha Kumar, Nithin Thotanthillaya, Devanand HGM, Yuva Arun, Kishan Raj, Vijay and Amaresh S. Anandgal.
Vedha New Post & Release Date
Set in the 1960s, Vedha brings an untold and heart-wrenching story to the audience. On October 20, 2022, the makers of the film announced the release date of the film along with dropping a new poster which features the lead star cast and it looks dangerous and promising, which will keep the audience stuck to their seats.
The film is set to have a multilingual release this Tuesday, 2 days before Christmas 2022. It will be released in Kannada along with dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions on December 23, 2022.
