The fun-filled family entertainer film Velan was released yesterday (31 Dec), it is helmed by the debutante Kavin, he is also the screenplay writer of the film. It is a Tamil language comedy-drama backed by Kalaimagan Mubarak under the banner of Sky Man Films.
The film got mixed to a positive response from the critics. They praised the dialogues, songs, and the performance of the main leads while bashing the climax and story of the film. Sify gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars by calling it a Typical Rural action Entertainer, TOI gave the film 2.5/5 stars.
It revolves around the main lead Velan (Mugen Rao), who is lucky to go, guy, falls in love with his college friend but Velan’s industrialist dad is against his wish, as he has already selected a girl for him.

Talking about its digital and Tv premiere, there is no update available as of now, but the posters of the film has a logo inscribed of Zee Networks e.g Zee5, Zee Telugu, and Zee Tamil.
So we can perceive from it that The film could be premiered on the pay television channel Zee Tamil and digitally on the video-on-demand app Zee 5. Although there is no official announcement by the makers yet, related to its Tv & digital premiere.

The trailer of Velan was unveiled recently and in 1 week it has been viewed over 10 lakh times, the technical work Cinematography & Editing has been carried out by Gopi Jagadeeswarana and K.Sarathkumar respectively and the music is given by Gopi Sundar. Dialogues are written by Chandran Pachamuthu, Savarimuthu and Kavin himself, the film has the runtime of 132minutes.
