Tollywood superstar Vijay Deverakonda has given powerful performances through the films like Geetha Govindham, Taxiwaala, Mahanati, Arjun Reddy, and Dear Comrade.
His latter movie Dear Comrade was not only a blockbuster at the box office south but the film’s Hindi version has been viewed over 300 million or (30 Crore) times on the social media platform YouTube. So, it will be safe to say that the actor is popular not only in the south but in the Hindi belt as well.
Though Vijay, started his acting career with the 2011 rom-com Nuvvila, he marked his lead acting debut through the National awardee film Pelli Choopulu directed by Tharun Bhascker.
The actor who rose to fame from his first lead film further appeared in many box office shatterer movies which we mentioned above. His two films Arjun Reddy and Dear Comrade were a huge hit at the box office, the former was remade in three Indian languages Hindi, and two times in Tamil as Kabir Singh, Adithya Varma, and Varmaa.
In the span of his over 10 yrs filmy career, Vijay has appeared in 10 films as lead, his some other films are Dwaraka, Ye Mantram Vesave, NOTA, and World famous lover which is considered a box office bomb. He saw his Tamil debut through the political thriller NOTA.
The actor copped his first Filmfare award in 2018 for his romantic drama Arjun Reddy and South Indian Intl. Movie Award for Geetha Govindham in the category of Best Actor.
In 2022, he was seen in a pan India bilingual sports film Liger, which was shot in both languages Hindi and Telugu simultaneously and starred alongside the budding Bollywood actress Ananya Panday. The film tanked at the box office becoming one of the biggest disasters of 2022.

1- Kushi (VD 11)
Vijay will be seen in the fourth project of the director Siva Nirvana, it will be bankrolled by the known Telugu producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. VD 11 will also mark the first collab between the director Siva and Vijay.
Lady Superstar Samantha joins the hunk in this romantic drama. Vijay shares the first look poster with 4 Indian Languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It was supposed to be released in Dec, but the release was postponed to 2023. If rumors are to believe, Kushi will hit the theatres during Valentine’s week (Feb 10).
2- Hero
Vijay will next be seen in his much-talked-about project in the south titled Hero, it will be helmed by Anand Annamalai. Hero is being produced by Naveen, Y Ravi Shankara, and CV Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.
Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan will be seen in the lead actress role, other actors Diganth, comedian Vennela Kishore, Saran, Kitty and John Edathattil will be seen playing pivotal roles. The tentative release date of the film is 17 Oct 2022.
3- Sukumar Untitled film
Reportedly Vijay Deverakond will be seen in Sukumar’s untitled film, as per the reports the film was to go on the floors in mid-2022 but after Pushpa’s success, there is a change in the plan.
Sukumar will first complete the shooting of his 2021 blockbuster Pushpa sequel then will begin shooting for the said project. The film is touted to be an action romantic film that will be produced by Selagamsetty.
4- JGM
Vijay will be seen in another film with the filmmaker Puri Jagannadh after Liger, the announcement for the same was made on 29 March 2022.
As per the reports, Puri’s next will be a patriotic film for which he wrote the story long ago, earlier the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu was being considered to be roped in the project, but further Vijay replaced him for reasons unknown.
