Tamil star Kamal Haasan’s latest outing “Vikram” has been on a record-breaking spree since the day it hit the theatres. It recently became the third highest-grossing Tamil film of all time by surpassing the lifetime collections of Rajinikanth’s Enthiran (Rs 289 Cr).
While Ulganayagan’s film is garnering amazing responses from movie lovers down south and overseas, it is not performing well in the Hindi belt.
Had the Vikram’s Hindi collections been at par with KGF2 and RRR, it would have become a solid contender to enter the list of Highest grossing Indian films of all time. The film managed to earn only Rs 3.45 crore in its one-week theatrical run in Hindi.
However, Vikram is doing amazing business in the home market (Tamil Nadu), the film so far has earned Rs 122 crore at the box office TN. And has become the third-highest grosser Tamil film beating the lifetime collections of magnum opuses like Kabali, Enthiran, Sarkar, Mersal, and so on.
Now, as per the early trends, Vikram remains steady on Day 11 (Monday). As per the latest reports, Vikram earned Rs 14.40 cr gross on Monday (Day 11), to take the total worldwide collections Rs 310 crores+. With it, Vikram has beaten the lifetime collection of Vijay’s sports film Bigil (Rs 308 crores) to become the second highest-grosser Tamil film of all time.
