After fetching itself the number 3rd spot in the highest grosser Tamil film of all time list, Ulganayagan’s Vikram is now eying on Vijay’s Sarkar to become the highest grosser Kollywood flick.
Vikram is the second film in the Lokesh Kanagaraj’s universe, after his 2019 Kaithi, Vikram takes the story forward. Lokesh along with directing the film also wrote the story.
The film was opened with positive reviews from the critics, it has been receiving amazing responses from audiences around the world. Ulganayagn’s film in one week raked in Rs 240 crores worldwide and continuing the rampage mode in the second week, it mints a double-digit figure on its second Friday.
With the Friday collection of Rs 12.90 Cr gross, the film became the 6th highest grosser Tamil film of all time by minting Rs 254.01 Cr gross with the distributor’s shares of 127.50 Cr.
As per the reports, Vikram Box Office Collection Day 9 is Rs 17.90 crores. The movie has crossed 272 crores gross worldwide & comes on 5th position of highest-grossing Tamil film of all time. Reportedly, it reached 100 Cr in the home state Tamil Nadu.
After beating Mersal’s lifetime collections, Ulganaygan’s Vikram now beats the lifetime collections of Thalapathy’s other flick, Sarkar (Rs 260 Crores).
