Directed and written by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, the Tamil film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander while the cinematography has been rendered by Girish Gangadharan, with the editing being handled by Philomin Raj.

Vikram Release Date

The title of the film has been taken from Kamal Haasan’s 1986 action film of the same title but this action thriller is a total spin-off of the original flick and is not its sequel but its official teaser released on November 7, 2020, featured a remix of its original theme song of 1986.

The movie is slated to be released in Jun 2022, it has been confirmed 0n 14 March, 7:00 PM. The first glance is loved by the Kamal Haasan’s fans.

Though the story of the film is still under wraps, the plot is a total action-thriller, where we see Kamal Haasan in a strong role where he is speculated to be playing the role of an agent.

This action-packed thriller is a much-awaited movie for all his fans and is Kamal Haasan’s first collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Vikram Teaser and Trailer

The teaser of the film was first released on November 7, 2020, later the filmmakers released another teaser on November 7 at 5 PM, on Kamal Haasan’s 67th birthday. The whole team even celebrated his birthday almost a week ahead on Monday (November 1).

From the teaser, one can clearly understand that Haasan is playing the role of an agent who is loaded with every weapon one can think of. We can see a food scene where he calls everyone to eat and right at the end throws his ax at the person sitting in front of him.
