Hrithik Roshan starrer Vikram Vedha had a below-par opening day at the box office, it was expected to take the second-best start of 2022 for an outright Hindi film beating Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s day 1 of 14.11 crores.
However, it took a double-digit start and has recorded a jump in its earnings on the second day especially in the multiplexes.

Box Office Collection Day 2
Vikram Vedha had clocked in Rs 3.36 crores for day 2 by selling around 1.4 lakhs tickets approximately, in the advance ticket sales. It had sold over 1.28 lakh tickets for day 1 worth Rs 2.9 crores. Now, as per the early trade estimates, it looks like Vikram Vedhas draw in the vicinity of 12 crores on Day 2 to take the total 2 days collections around Rs 23 crores, domestically.

Despite below-par numbers at the box office, the talks about the Hrithik-Saif starrer are positive among the audience, hence it is sure to grow over the weekend. It is currently locking horns with Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra. The latter has crossed the 250 crore mark in its third week and has become the 12th highest grosser Bollywood film of all time, domestically.

To Cross Laal Singh Chaddha’s Opening Weekend biz
Now, with over 20 crores collection in two days, Vikram Vedha intends to cross the Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha’s extended 4 days opening weekend biz of 37.96 crores. As the collections of Hrithik-Saif starrer will show the upward trend on Sunday as well, there is a fair chance for VV crossing Aamir’s LSC 1st weekend business.
