Vikram Vedha was released on Sept 30 to rave reviews from critics. It had a below-par start at the box office but gained momentum over the weekend. However, the collections of the flick are still on the lower side given the very poor opening day.
After the drop on Monday, it is clear that the flick will not become a hit affair at the box office. From here, it will be to reach the respectable final collections of around 100 crore which too seems to be an uphill task for the Hrithik starrer.
Advance Bookings Report Day 5
There is a slight increase in the advance bookings on Day 5 owing to the auspicious Dussehra festival on Wed. It draws in Rs 1.35 crores gross for day 5. It had sold tickets worth Rs 1.2 crores on Monday and fetched Rs 5-5.5 crores at the box office.
Box Office Collection Day 5
Hrithik-Saif starrer is not a film that will perform through advances, the flick is stable in the mass areas but on the lower side. The good thing is there is no major competition for Vikram Vedha till Diwali, there are releases like Good Bye and Doctor G in between but both the flick caters to the class audience which will not impact VV’s BO.
As per the early trade estimations, Vikram Vedha collects another 5.5 to 6 crores on Day 6. if it shows growth on Wednesday (Dussehra) followed by an upward trend in earnings in its second weekend. There will be a good chance for Pushkar-Gayathri directed to enter the 100-crore club.
VV to Cross 50 Crores
The total collections of Vikram Vedha now stands at over 48 crores, domestically. It is certain to get past the 50 crore mark on Wed and will target the 75 crore mark by the second weekend. It is the hold on its second week weekdays will make it clear whether it will enter the 100 crore club or not.
