The shoot of one of the highly-anticipated films of the year, Vikram Vedha finally wrapped-up on Friday, June 10. Directed by the ace filmmaker couple Pushkar and Gayathri, the film is the Hindi adaptation of 2017 superhit Tamil action thriller film of the Same Name.
The film’s shoot started in October 2021 and the first schedule of the film took place in Abu Dhabi with other schedules shot in cities like Lucknow and Mumbai. Finally, after facing several hindrances, the principle photography has finally been completed and now, post-production work of the film is now in full swing. It is scheduled for a grand theater-release on September 30, 2022.
Hrithik Roshan Announced the Wrap, Expresses His Excitement
One of the lead actors of the film, Hrithik Roshan also took to twitter to announce the wrap up of Vikram Vedha. He posted a pair of pictures with co-star Saif Ali Khan and the director duo Pushkar and Gayathri and penned down a caption in which he talks about his experience of shooting the film and also expresses his feelings as it is inching closer to its release date.
As we called it a wrap on set, my mind is flooded with all the happy memories, testing times, action, thrill and hardwork we all have put into #VikramVedha. Doing a little excited-nervous dance in my head today.. as we inch closer to our release date.

About the film
The big budget film stars actor Saif Ali Khan and Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, they are reprising the roles of promising actor R. Madhavan and Kollywood megastar Vijay Sehtupathy as Vikram and Vedha, respectively, from the original Tamil Film, which was also directed by Pushkar and Gayathri.
The upcoming film is jointly produced by S. Sashikanth, Chakravarthy Ramachandra, Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the banners of YNOT Studios and Plan C Studios. Popular music composer/singer duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, popularly known as Vishal-Shekhar are onboard as composers with Manoj Muntashir as lyricist.
