Sandalwood’s superstar Kiccha Sudeep’s pan-India film ” Vikrant Rona” had created so much buzz ahead of its release and the same was witnessed during the advance bookings.
The film graced the cinemas on Friday and had the shows opened as early as 6:30 am. The reviews are all blockbusters, Anup Bhandari wrote and directed the film, it marks his third directorial venture.
Screen Counts
Vikrant Rona has managed to occupy 2500 screens with 9500 shows worldwide, it releases on 400 screens in the home market (Karnataka), it managed to grab 690 screens in the northern belt, 250 screens in Tamil Nadu and around 370 screens in Telugu-speaking states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). Sudeep led is releasing on 110 screens with around 600 shows in Kerala, as per cinema express.

Advance Bookings
There is a huge buzz for the film and we can judge it from its advance bookings, which started late but in a few days, the film grossed over Rs 7 crores from advance, all languages. It has also surpassed Allu Arjun’s Pushpa advance Hindi collections (Rs 37 L) by accumulating Rs 65 Lakhs. It accumulated Rs 5.70 crores from the home market.
Box Office Collection Day 1
As per the multiple media reports, Vikrant Rona managed to earn Rs 40 Cr gross on day 1, however, trade estimation suggests that it opened with around Rs 20 Cr gross on the first day. The figures could go either way as these are just estimations, and the final report is yet to come.
As per box office tracker Sacnilk.com, it is estimated to collect Rs 14.50 Cr gross from Karnataka alone. The film is said to beat Pushpa’s day 1 collection in the north.

Clash
The film is said to be released in 10 languages globally and in India on 5 languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is facing a clash with another pan-India film The Legend which has occupied the same screens as Sudeep starrer worldwide. It is expected to put a dent in its collections in the home market considering the craze surrounding the Tamil film.
Reviews
Many fans took to Twitter to share their reviews after watching the early morning shows, it received praise for engaging story, visuals, action sequences and background music. Even many fans called the visuals of Hollywood level.
