After the thunderous start at the box office, Kiccha Sudeep’s Pan India film “Vikrant Rona” has now completed its second day of the extended 4-day opening weekend. It was opened with rave reviews from the critics and performed really well at the box office on its first day.
For the unversed, Vikrant Rona is pan India film from Kannada cinema, it was released on 28 July (Thu) in multiple languages. Sudeep is playing an inspector’s role in the movie, along with him, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ravishankar Gowda in the important roles. Director Anup Bhandari and Sudeep’s wife Milana Nagaraj has cameo roles in the film.
Box Office Collection Day 1
Since there is no proper Sandalwood box office tracker, the exact reports are difficult to fetch, multiple news reports suggest that it has grossed Rs 40 Cr on Day 1. Recently trade analyst Manobala Vijayan informed that Vikrant Rona has collected Rs 26.49 Cr. As per Manobala, Kiccha starrer minted Rs 18.33 Cr in the home state (Karnataka).

Talking about the box office Hindi, as per a report of Pinkvilla, the film managed to collect Rs 1 Cr in the north belt which is more than Vikram, Beast, Valimai and 777 Charlie’s day 1 collection. Following this, it witnessed a 25% drop in Hindi on Day 2 and collects Rs 75 L on Friday.

Box Office Collection Day 2
The reviews are all in the film’s favor, as per the reports, the film is running well in both formats (2D and 3D). Now, coming to the day 2 box office collections, going by the occupancy report of the film, it sees a major drop on Day 2. As per Sacnilk.com, Sudeep led witnessed 15.36% and 32.27% overall occupancy in 2D and 3D formats on Day 2, respectively. As per the trade estimation, it collects in the range of Rs 10-12 Cr on Friday.
