Anup Bhandari’s visual spectacle “Vikrant Rona” had taken off to a flying start at the box office but saw a big drop in the collections on Fri. The film is now said to be back on track on the third day, as per the reports.
It is a midweek release film and will have an extended 4 days weekend, the midweek release strategy so far remains in the film’s favor. It was opened with mixed to positive reviews from the critics. The film received praise for Sudeep’s performance, visuals, engaging story, and Ra Ra Rakkamma song featuring Jacqueline Fernandez. The item song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Nakash Aziz.

Box Office Collection Hindi
The Hindi version of the film opened decent at the box office, it minted Rs 1 Cr nett on the first day which is more than recent pan India releases from south Vikram, Valimai, Beast, and 777 Charlie. However, it failed to beat Pushpa’s day 1 (Rs 3.33 Cr) which was released last year in Dec, both the films lack promotion and marketing in Hindi.
Pushpa was hit in Hindi because of Allu Arjun’s popularity in the north, on the other side, Kiccha is not that big a name as compared to Allu in the Hindi belt. On Day 2, it earned Rs 75 L taking the two days Hindi collection to Rs 1.75 Cr nett. The Hindi version is presented by Salman Khan Films and distributed by PVR pictures in North.

Box Office Collection Day 3
Talking about the box office Worldwide, Kiccha Sudeep starrer accumulated a whopping Rs 35 Cr gross worldwide on Thursday (Day 1). The film saw a major drop in the collections on Day 2 (Fri) and is said to be collected Rs 12 Cr gross** worldwide.
Now, as per the recent reports the film is again back on track at the box office, as it showed a very good occupancy on Saturday. As per the trade estimates, it earns in the range of Rs 18 Cr gross** on day 3 (Saturday) to take the total worldwide collections in the vicinity of Rs 65 crores gross worldwide.
As per Sacnilk.com, Vikrant Rona witnessed 18.25% and 36.56% (2D) and (3D) Kannada occupancy on Day 3, respectively. It had a 15.36% (2D) and 32.27% occupancy in 3D format on Friday (Day 2).
