The visual spectacle Kannada film “Vikrant Rona” was released in July this year and had taken the box office by storm. It was opened with mixed reviews from critics with praise for the visual effects, special effects, action sequence, and performance of Kiccha Sudeep.
Made with a budget of 95 crores, Vikrant Rona was released in multiple languages across the globe, and reaped huge profits for whoever invested in it. As per the media reports, it grossed over Rs 200 crores lifetime at the box office.

Vikrant Rona is now gearing for the OTT releases after a stupendous run at the box office, in fact, the original version of it has already debuted on Zee5. And the other versions are also being released on OTT platforms.
The Kannada version digital rights of the movie were bagged by Zee5 while the other versions of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam were bought by Disney+Hotstar. All the said versions are slowly being made available on the platform.

The Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi versions premiered on the platform on Sept 16. And now fans are asking for the Malayalam version release date of Vikrant Rona. Although there is no official confirmation yet, it is said that it will be released on the platform in a week or so.

Anup Bhandari directorial stars Sudeep in the titular role, it also has Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ravishankar Gowda, Madhusudan Rao and V. Priya among others. Shalini Manjunath, Jack Manjunath and Alankar Pandhan produced the film under Kichcha Creations, Shalini Arts and Invenio Origin. It has a 7.7 out of 10 rating on IMDb.
