The most anticipated film of the sandalwood cinema the fantasy action-adventure Vikrant Rona starring the Kannada cinema superstar Kiccha Sudeep will hit the big screens this year.
It will be one of the big-ticket releases in the Kannada cinema of the year 2022. Sudeep was last seen in his heist action film Kotigobba 3, which was the third installment in the hit Kotigobba franchise.
Now, the actor is all geared up for his next release, Vikrant Rona has already made the buzz among the viewers through its poster and promos, a glimpse of 1 min 20 secs of VR has been viewed over 1.43 crore times on the SM platform YouTube, so far.
The film is directed and helmed by Anup Bhandari, with this, it will mark his third project as a director.
Star Cast of Vikrant Rona
Srilankan actress Murder 2 fame Jacqueline Fernandez will be doing an extended cameo appearance in the film as Gadang Rakkamma / Racquel D’Coasta.
She also has done a dance number with the main lead which posters have induced curiosity amongst the moviegoers. Though the makers haven’t announced the counterpart lead actress, rumors are Milana Nagaraj is the lead actress.

Vikrant Rona Release Date
Earlier makers had announced that the film would hit the theatres on 24 February 2022 but later the release date is postponed indefinitely owing to the covid pandemic.
Though there is no official confirmation regarding the release yet, various media reports suggest that it might see its release post-July 2022.
Kiccha starrer will be released in 14 languages worldwide, which marks the record of the first-ever sandalwood film ever to do it, Vikrant Rona will be released in Kannada along with its dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English, Malayalam, etc. ich
It was scheduled to release on 24 Feb 2022 but postponed and is now confirmed to release on 28th of July 2022.
Virant Rona will be distributed in Hindi by PVR Pictures, Sudeep himself gave the news on social media platforms.

It is a B Ajaneesh Loknath musical film, after the release of the teaser on April 2, we could then expect the first song ‘Hey Fakira’ to be dropped on SM platforms, other songs are Gumma Banda Gumma, Chikki Bombe, Lullaby, The Queen of Good Times Gaddang Rakkamma, it was after the latter song the official trailer of the film will be released.
