Rana Daggubati’s Virata Parvam is facing a tough time at the box office. Despite rave reviews, the film was opened to low numbers at the ticket counters.
The film follows the story of a young woman who is in pursuit of her lover, a Naxal leader, it is set in the ’90s amidst the Naxalite movement in the Telangana region. Now seems like the audience didn’t like the glorification of Naxalism as the film is struggling at the box office despite having Rana and Sai in the lead.
Box Office Collection (Day-Wise)
Virata Parvam is a small film, said to be made on a meager budget of Rs 15 Cr, the film is far away to cross the breakeven mark. On day 1, the film earned Rs 0.90 Cr shares and saw a downward trend over the weekend.

The film accumulated Rs 2.09 Cr shares (Rs 3.40 Cr gross) in three days (opening weekend) in the home market (AP-TG). Talking about the worldwide collections, it raked in Rs 3.14 Cr shares (Rs 5.35 Cr gross) at the BO WW on the opening weekend.
Box Office Collection Day 4
Going by the trends, the downward trend for Rana starrer will continue, as per the reports, Virata Parvam witnessed a drop of over 50% in earnings on Monday (Day 4) as compared to the Sunday collections.
It earned Rs 0.70 Cr gross on Day 4, the total worldwide collections of Virata Parvam now stands at Rs 6.05 Cr gross+
The film needs to hold extremely well in the coming weekdays as it still needs Rs 11.36 Cr to break even.
