Rana Daggubati’s long-awaited film Virata Parvam is finally gearing up to hit the theatres tomorrow, the film went under development in 2018 with filming concluded in Dec 2020, since then the makers have been awaiting the release of the film.
Earlier it was scheduled to release in April 2021, later the release date was pushed back two times owing to several reasons. In May 2022, the makers officially announced that the film will be released on 17 June 2022 (Tomorrow). Pre-Release Business
The worldwide pre-release business of Virata Paravam is valued Rs 14 crore, It earned Rs Telugu speakings states business is Rs 11 Cr with Andhra business valued Rs 5Cr, followed by Nizam Rs 4 Cr, and Ceeded Rs 2 Cr. The Overseas and the rest of India’s pre-release business is valued Rs 3 Cr.
Budget and Break-Even Mark
If Telugu circles reports are to be believed, Virata Paravam is a small-budget film made with a meager budget of around Rs 12-14 Cr, the break-even target for the film is set at Rs 14.50 Cr. This means Rana starrer needs to collect Rs 14.50 Cr shares to enter the profit phase.
Box Office Predictions
As we discussed above that it is a small budget film, the day 1 collections of Rs 5 Cr gross in the home market (AP/TG) would be enough for Rana-Sai Pallavi’s flick, however, it can earn more considering the popularity of both the actors.
