Kollywood actor Karthi starrer Masala Entertainer titled Viruman has been gracing the big screen since August 12, 2022 and soon it will premiere on OTT for the viewers who love to enjoy content online instead of in theaters.
The film is directed by M. Muthaiah, who is known for his village based, cast oriented and region based scripts. Viruman marks his 7th directorial venture following Kutti Puli, Komban, Marudhu, Kodiveeran, Devarattam and Pulikkuthi Pandi.
The film’s revolve around a young village boy Viruman, who leaves his house after he gets to know that his father is the reason for his mother’s suicide. Since then, there has been rivalry between him and his father.

Karthi played the titular role in the film whereas actress Aditi Shakar played his love interest Thaen. Along with the leading star cast, the film also stars Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Saranya Panvannan, Soori, Karunas, Vadivukkarasi, R.K. Suresh, Manoj Bharathiraja, G.M. Sundar, Singampuli, Ilavarasu, Rajkumar, Vasumithra, Arundhati, Myna Nandini, Indraja, Indhumathi and O.A.K. Sundar.

Viruman OTT Release Date
The much-hyped masala entertainer backed by National Award winning actor and Kollywood megastar Suriya and his wife Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment, the film will soon grace the OTT platform.
The post theatrical rights have been acquired by popular OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. Also, its satellite rights have been sold to Vijay TV, where the film will be telecast a few days after its OTT streaming.
After the theatrical success the film to premiere on OTT in September 2022. Amazon Prime Video confirms the digital premiere date with poster ft. Karthi:
