Young and promising actor Sai Dharam Tej is making his return to the big screen with his upcoming pan-India project. The title of his highly anticipated film, which was tentatively titled “SD15,” has been unveiled as “Virupaksha.”
The actor has started shoot of the film with young director Karthik Dandu, known for his work in Jawaan (2017) and Bham Bholenath (2015), and one of the top directors of the industry, Sukumar, who has also directed Pushpa: The Rise, has penned the script of the film.

A title glimpse of the film has been released today, on December 7, 2022, and in the video, Sai Dharam Tej is seen stopping thousands of people who carry flambeau lighting in their hands.
On more interesting thing about the titled teaser is that it has the voice over provided by Telugu superstar and ‘RRR’ fame NTR Jr. With the solid background score and powerful visuals, the film has promised a lot to entertain the audience.

Virupaksha Star Cast
Actor Sai Dharam Tej is playing the lead role in the film, and it marks his return to the big screen after the Telugu cult classic political drama film, Republic. The actor has impressed the Telugu audience with his roles in movies like Pilla Nuvva Leni Jeevitham, Subramanyam for Sale, Supreme, Chitralahari, Prati Roju Pandage, etc.
After the release of Republic, the actor stayed away from films for almost a year because of a road accident. However, he is now completely fit and all-geared for Virupaksha, in which Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon of “Bheemla Nayak” fame plays the female lead.
Virupaksha Release Date
Produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings, the high-octane action entertainer marks the maiden Pan-India project of Sai Dharam Tej, and it is set for a summer release. The film will be released theatrically on April 21, 2023, in Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The technical crew of the film includes Shamdat Sainudeen as cinematographer, Navin Nooli as editor, and B. Ajaneesh Loknath as music composer. Satish BKR and Ashok Bandreddi serve as creative producers and executive producers, respectively.
