One of the popular OTT streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar, known for delivering unique and promising content for its viewers, is set to premiere its another original series titled Wedding Season.
Billed as an action comedy romantic thriller, the series is directed by George Kate from a screenplay written by Oliver Lyttelton. Do not confuse it with the Tom Dey directorial Netflix film Wedding season starring Pallavi Sharda and Suraj Sharma in the lead role, which was released on the streamer on August 4, 2022.
The upcoming series is executive produced by Chris Carey, Laurence Bowen, Toby Bruce, Brooke Posch, Lilly Burns, Tony Hernandez, and Johanna Devereaux.
Wedding Season Series Star Cast
The series stars American-Canadian actress Rosa Salazar in the lead role as Katie. She is known for her roles in NBC series Parenthood and the FX anthology series American Horror Story: Murder House. Her best role is of Lisa Nova in horror drama series Brand New Cherry Flavour.
Actor Gavin Drea is playing Katie’s love interest, Stefan in the series. It also stars George Webster as Hugo Delaney, Jade Harrison as DCI Metts, Jamie Michie as DI Donahue, Ivan Kaye as Mr. Delaney. Additionally Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbrook and Omar Baroud are also playing pivotal roles in the series.
Wedding Season Series OTT Release Date
The makers of the series have finally revealed its release date. The 8- episode series produced by Jax Media and Disney Ledge Productions, will premiere on September 8, 2022 on Hulu in the United States and Internationally on Disney Plus. The entertainment lovers in India can enjoy the show on the same day on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Wedding Season Series Trailer
The trailer of Wedding Season series is finally out. The genre-busting series follows two lovers Katie and Stefen, who meet at a wedding shortly before Katie’s own wedding to someone else. Two months later, at Katie’s wedding, her husband and his family are murdered.
The Police think Stefen did it and Stefen thinks it was Katie who murdered them, and no one is sure who is the real murderer. The series is an action-packed romp across the United Kingdom and the United States as Katie and Stefen go on the run, all while trying to prove their innocence.
