MCU’s upcoming special, “Werewolf by Night” is all geared up to hit on the Disney+Hotstar soon, it is written by Peter Camron with Heather Quinn and directed by Michael Giacchino.
After releasing 8 web series in phase 4, which includes 3 web series this year Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Werewolf by Night is Marvel Studios’ first special developed for Disney+.
Werewolf by Night OTT Release Date
Werewolf by Night will be released on OTT streaming service Disney+Hotstar on 7 Oct 2022. It is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Victoria Alonso under Marvel Studios.

Star Cast of Werewolf by Night
Gael Garcia Bernal will headline the special, he is playing the titular role, along with him, Laura Donnelly who plays Elsa Bloodstone and Harriet Sansom Harris play the key roles. Other cast members include Al Hamacher (Billy Swan), Eugenie Bondurant (Linda), Kirk Thatcher (Jovan), Jaycob Maya and Daniel Watts.
It went on the floors earlier this year and the shooting concluded on late April 2022.
Werewolf by Night Story
The special will centre around Jack Russell/Werewolf by Night (portrayed by Gael Garcia Bernal), a man who shapeshifts into a werewolf during the full moon while retaining his human intellect due to a curse.

The makers unveiled a unique trailer of the special on 11 Sept 2022, which promises to be a fright-filled marvel special. With the release of the trailer, questions have started pouring in about the crossover of Werewolf and Moonknight. As per Marvel Comics, the werewolf does interact with Moon Knight.
However, from the maker’s side, it is still under the wraps whether Moon Knight will feature in the special or the crossover of both will happen on Moon Knights’ second season.
