Nowadays, the actor is busy promoting his highly anticipated Kannada action thriller film Kranti. Recently, the actor was at an event for the promotional purposes of his film when he had a bitter experience, as someone threw a slipper on him during the event.

Darshan, who got involved in many controversies in the past, faced harsh criticism due to his remark on the goddess of luck during an interview, where he said that when the goddess of luck knocks on your door, you must grab it and strip her naked, because if you give her clothes, she will leave immediately. Kichcha Sudeep, Shiva Rajkumar and Others Condemn the Attack on Darshan
After the incident took place, support poured in from everywhere for Darshan, especially from the Kannada film industry. Actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Jaggesh, Sharan, Kichcha Sudeep, and Anu Prabhakar condemn the act of throwing a slipper by a miscreant.
However, the man who did it hasn’t been found yet, and police are analysing the footage and forming a special team to find the culprit.
