India’s popular TV channel Colors TV is set to telecast a brand new show titled Pishachini from Today, Monday August 8, 2022. The show, based on the supernatural theme, will be aired on Monday to Friday at 10 pm.
The show will replace social drama series Nima Denzongpa, which was earlier running on the 10 pm slot but with the premiere of Pishachini, it will be telecast at 10:30 pm. Also, the viewers who love to watch TV shows online, can enjoy it on Voot any time for free.
Backed by MAJ Productions and Shakuntalam Telefilms, the show features actor Harsh Rajput of “Nazar” fame in the lead role whereas Jiya Shankar of “Meri Hanikarak Biwi” fame is playing the prominent role.
Apart from these actors, actress Nyraa Banerjee, who is going to play the title role of a Pishachini (evil demoness) is also making headlines. The beautiful Pishachini has been making headlines since the show was announced, so here we are going to tell you more about the actress.

Who is Nyraa Banerjee?
Nyraa Banerjee is a popular actress and model, who was born on May 14, 1987 in Mumbai. Her original name was Madhurima Banerjee which she later changed to Nyraa Banerjee in 2016. Her father is a retired Naval officer and mother Nandita Banerjee is a novelist, from whom she learned Hindustani Classical Music and Ghazal. She also has a younger brother.
Nyraa attended Mumbai’s Canossa Convent High School and went to Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai to pursue her Bachelor of Legislative Law (L.L.B.) degree with a specialization in Intellectual property. She had started working as an anchor when she was in 11th standard, as a part-time job.
The actress has a huge (3.5 million) number of followers on Instagram. She is quite active in all her social media accounts and often teases fans with her sizzling and hot pictures.

Career
Nyraa apart from Hindi, also worked in Telugu and Kannada language films as well as TV serials. She made her feature film debut with Srinivas Murthy Nidadavole directorial Telugu comedy film Aa Okkadu and then went on to appear in several successful Telugu films.
She acted in Bollywood film One Night Stand and also served as an assistant director with Tony D’Souza in 2016 Hindi biographical film Azhar. Nyraa has also appeared in Star Plus’s TV show Divya Drishti, which was also based on a supernatural theme.
In Divya Drishti, she played Divya, who had the superpower to alter the future. In Pishachini she is playing an evil demoness who entraps people and controls their soul with her enchanting beauty and dark energies. Nyraa was last seen in Rakshabandhan…Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal which aired on Dangal TV from July 2021 to April 2022.
