Actor Rasik Dave passed away on Friday (29th July 2022) in Mumbai at the age of 65, due to Kidney related ailments and he was on dialysis for the last two years.
Rasik is survived by his wife Ketki Dave, who is popularly known for her role of Daksha Virani in the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and his daughter Riddhi Dave.

Rasik Dave began his acting career with the gujarati movie Putra Vadhu in the year 1982, he worked in both Hindi and Gujrati industry and he was a well known face of Indian Television.
He was well known for playing the role of Karsandas Dhansukhlal Vaishnav in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki and the role of Nand in Mahabharat, which started in the 1980s. Rasik and Ketki also participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 2, in 2006, which was telecasted on Star Plus. Rasik and Ketki also own a Gujarati theatre company.
Cause of Death
Rasik was battling with kidney related ailments from the past couple of years and was on dialysis for the past 2 years; but yesterday on 29 July, and from last month his health started deteriorating and he left his family and friends.
Actor and producer JD Majethia shared a heartfelt note on Twitter he wrote, “Heartbroken and deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Rasik Dave. Gone too soon brother. May God give your family the strength to get through his difficult time. Om Shanti”.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit took to twitter and wrote “Sad to know about the demise of a dear friend Rasik Dave who was a versatile actor on stage, tv and films due to kidney failure. Heartfelt condolences to his wife Ketaki Dave and his entire family. Will always be remembered. Om Shanti!”.
